ETD Office Contact Information
Our Services The UCF Thesis and Dissertation (ETD) Office reviews manuscripts to ensure they meet university formatting requirements and collects the final, electronic copy for archiving in the UCF Library. The Office can also assist with:
- Questions about UCF thesis/dissertation requirements
- Information regarding UCF deadlines for graduation
- Questions about document formatting
- Specific thesis/dissertation issues (style, organization, etc.)
- Locating for-hire editorial and word processing assistance
The Thesis and Dissertation Office also has a graduate assistant that can assist with specific technical concerns, such as problems with Microsoft Word styles, PDF bookmarks, and PDF conversion. Students must make an appointment in advance to meet with the graduate assistant. Please contact editor@mail.ucf.edu to make an appointment with the ETD graduate assistant.
The ETD graduate assistant will be available for appointments during the following hours throughout the Fall 2009 semester:
Mondays and Wednesday 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Please remember that students are ultimately responsible for the formatting of their thesis or dissertation. Please contact editor@mail.ucf.edu for a list of freelance format editors, if necessary.
