7 Year Rule for Master's and Doctoral Programs

All master's and docotral students have seven years from the date of admission to complete their degree (prerequisite, articulation, and foundation courses are exempt). In addition, no course older than seven years at the time of graduation may be used in the Plan of Study.  Courses from an earned degree are not subject to this rule.

Exceptions to this policy can be requested by filing a graduate petition through the academic program.
