It has been a good year for research at UCF. Double-digit percentage increases in education, engineering, optics and simulation contribution significantly toward an 18 percent increase over last year's research with the university posting a record $121.4 million in project funding for 2006-07 fiscal year.
The total marks the third consecutive year in which researchers surpassed the $100 million milestone in research funding.
